Mr. Olsen is responsible for financial analysis and corporate advisory in the areas of equity and debt valuations,
mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, and forecasting.
He has been involved in numerous financial advisory and business
valuation engagements, focusing on the healthcare and technology industries. Mr. Olsen specializes in valuing and advising privately and publicly
held small and middle market businesses, tech startups,
and M&A transactions. As a Director, he also aids in business development, marketing, and strategic planning for the firm and has published several articles in leading trade journals like the Journal of Accountancy and Business Valuation Review.
Prior to TCG, Mr. Olsen gained relevant experience in industries including investment banking and consumer products. Additionally, he
has conducted extensive research in the areas of mergers and
acquisitions, corporate strategy, national culture, and post-acquisition
integration. He holds the Accredited Member designation from the American Society of Appraisers and is active in a number of healthcare and technology trade associations.
Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Olsen is an active member in the community and has held board and leadership positions with the Vinings Rotary Club, United Way of Metro Atlanta, and at his alma mater, the University of Virginia. In 2006, he founded a nonprofit aimed at improving the lives of children in rural Kenya through education, healthcare, and technology.
