Mr. Yermack is a Senior Director with Taylor Consulting Group. He is an experienced valuation and appraisal professional with over 15 years of diversified business valuation experience. He has provided business valuation services involving the valuation of business enterprises, common and preferred stock, partnerships, derivative securities such as options and warrants, and intangible assets. He has performed valuation engagements for financial reporting, income tax, estate and gift tax planning, litigation support, fairness opinions, and management planning purposes.
Mr. Yermack has served at the senior level of several valuation firms; most recently as a Director with the CBIZ Valuation Group, LLC. in Atlanta. Prior to joining CBIZ, he was a Director of Valuation Services with the Phillips-Hitchner Group, Inc. and primarily served SEC-registered clients. Prior to that, he was a Senior Manager in the KPMG, LLP Valuation Services Practice in Atlanta.
Since working at KPMG, Mr. Yermack specialized in the valuation of businesses and intangible assets in the computer software, hardware, and information technology consulting industries. He also has valuation experience in the banking, financial services, bio-technology, construction, health care, insurance, manufacturing, real estate, and wholesale / distribution industries.
Mr. Yermack spent four years in the Valuation Practice at Arthur Andersen & Co, including one year at the Manager level. He left Andersen to serve as Vice President and head of the Closely Held Business Group at C&S Trust Company.
In addition to his valuation experience, Mr. Yermack has five years of financial management experience with large, multi-national companies in the information technology industry. He has also served on the faculty of Western Carolina University as an Instructor of Finance.
